Hicks Logistics is celebrating 40 years in business with a £30m contract renewal with powered access specialist UK Platforms.
The five-year deal puts the icing on the cake for the Caldicot, south Wales-based logistics company, which will supply more than 40 semi low-loaders and rigid beavertails for use by UK Platforms throughout its national depot network.
MD Terry Hicks said: “This year we are celebrating 40 years of trading so we are delighted at this time to, once again, be UK Platforms’ trusted supplier of transport to all its UK depots, and we look forward to a continued long relationship.”
Hicks, which operates a fleet of more than 80 vehicles, said it has seen consistent growth over the past four years, with turnover at £11.3m.
Hicks Logistics left Fortec this year for rival The Pallet Network.
