Plant equipment and civil engineering firm Readypower has handed its entire fleet management needs to Teletrac Navman.
Readypower Group provides specialised on-track plant equipment as well as engineering, drainage, haulage and operating services and it plays a critical role in supporting and modernising the UK’s rail network.
Teletrac will deliver a suite of solutions across its fleet of over 750 vehicles and the new agreement extends its existing support across three areas of fleet improvement: safety, compliance and sustainability.
Location tracking, digital tachograph integration and engine management telematics will be rolled out across the HGV fleet, with all data monitored in real-time through Teletrac Navman’s AI-powered fleet management platform, TN360.
A mixture of Teletrac’s forward-facing, 360-degree and driver-facing cameras are also being installed, with additional external vision and proximity aids added to vehicles required to achieve DVS safe system compliance.
Russell Jack, CEO of Readypower Group, said: “We’re delighted to be bringing all our fleet management needs under one supplier agreement.
“Teletrac Navman has been a close partner of Readypower Group for 15 years and has helped to drive the adoption of technology that directly impacts our core pillars of safety, compliance and sustainability.
“With TN360’s sustainability dashboard, we’ll now have full ability to monitor and report on our carbon emissions and driver efficiency on the road, as well identify opportunities for improvement and future energy transition across the fleet.”
