Wincanton has built on its relationship with Ikea with a new three-year home delivery contract.
The operator will delivery to Ikea customers' homes across the South East, working out of three stores, including Wembley.
Wincanton will also make deliveries out of Ikea's Harlow customer DC, which it already operates.
Wincanton won the contract to run two new Ikea DCs for four years in December 2016.
The operator's chief executive Adrian Coleman said: “Flexibility and convenience are key for today’s consumers and our long-established services in eCommerce and industry leading two-man home delivery will be effective in providing Ikea an enhanced service level for its customers.”
Ikea also extended its work with DX Group last month, taking its contract with the operator to around £19m a year.
The three-year deal with DX will see the operator operate dedicated service centres in proximity to all of Ikea's stores, as well as fulfil same-day home deliveries and offering an advanced bookings and returns service.
