Pentalver Transport has had a branding makeover after it was bought by American rail freight firm Genesee & Wyoming (G&W) in May.
The operator has traded its blue branding for G&W's orange and yellow, with a logo designed to match its new owner's.
The new strapline, container logistics, was chosen to reflect Pentalver's varied capabilities in the container sector.
The original P&W logo was designed by Milton Glaser, the artist behind the famous "I love NY" logo.
Pentalver MD Chris Lawrenson said: “We’re excited to begin serving customers as a G&W-branded company.
“Amidst the changes that are structurally altering the global shipping industry, G&W shares our commitment to providing the safest, most reliable and efficient transportation services to the UK maritime intermodal market.”
G&W also owns multimodal operator Freightliner. It said the fleets of both Freightliner and Pentalver would strengthen its UK operation.
